| CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION — PLEDGE OF COMMITMENT |

We are Filipinos. We are duly bound to make this world a safer and cleaner environment for everyone. We now also realize that the world is in danger from climate change, and therefore we must commit ourselves to prevent global warming and ensure a cleaner, safer and healthier future for our children up to the seventh generations through climate change adaptation.
We promise to support and participate in initiatives that would hasten the use of clean energy, reforestation, lower use of electricity, environmental protection and conservation, proper waste segregation, the complete phase-out of plastic and the use of indigenous materials. We also commit and dedicate to mobilize our families and friends at school, work, and in the entire community in promoting effectiveness of climate change adaptation.
We pledge to accomplish these tasks and accept climate change adaptation in our soul, and commit to sustain a safer and cleaner world for a better life for all.
So help us God.
